This display shows the CANAREON instability signal computed from live FinGrid national frequency data. The composite score reflects early instability activity — rising values indicate the grid is exhibiting early warning signatures consistent with approach to a critical transition. This is not a probability of failure. It is a leading indicator derived from the BCI engine. A score approaching 1.0 indicates strong precursor activity. Operator judgment is always required.
The live signal corresponds to the Collapse Risk (Ψ) component of the BCI output pipeline. See the Science page for full methodology.
Real-time instability signals derived from oscillation energy, variance, and autocorrelation. CANAREON identifies early-stage destabilisation before critical failure.
